This revolution has changed the order of the whole society in which the main part of the society was the male. In he role of the female was neglected and everything was related to the male gender, because of the great discrimination the took place at that time the women rebelled against the whole rules that stood in their face and prevent them from expressing their own believes.
Daddy is a poem written by American Confessional poet Sylvia Plath.
In this poem the feminist rebellion that took place by Sylvia towards her dads actions was shown clearly she said that she wants to speak him before he dies she wants him to return back she has so many ideas and thoughts she wants to tell him and she wants to tell him that she no more cares about what he says about her. Its shown from her words her insistent to rebelled against the male society she's telling her dad that she will no longer feel afraid of him, she draw a bad picture of him by the actions he used to do and the way he used to treat her.
She thought that by killing one man,then she has in fact killed two. She killed her dad literary for the second when she rebelled against the society and about the rules that prevent the female from expressing her own voice and thoughts freely.
This article is considered one of the most feminist articles that played a great role in the feminist revolution in 1980s.
